SnipperClips review!

Developer/Publisher: Nintendo

Platform: Nintendo Switch

While The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild might have been THE game to pick up on the Switch, there have been a number of smaller titles released exclusively on the e-store which are more than worth the purchase.

One such game is Nintendo’s charming puzzler SnipperClips – Cut it out, together!

Mario Kart 8 Update: 200cc Mode!

You may not have heard (though let’s face it, you probably did…) but Mario Kart 8 got an update today. Normally these updates are small patches, fixing a bug here and there, but today’s update was different; Today’s update added a new 200cc mode.

Nintendo finally did it. They made Mario Kart even crazier than it already was.

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate – The best MH so far?

Developer: Capcom

Platform: Nintendo 3DS

Monster Hunter has long been a series close to my heart, ever since I discovered the series with Monster Hunter Freedom on the PSP. The series has made its home on a variety of consoles, and now resides on Nintendo’s consoles.

Released in February 2015, Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate (MH4U) is the newest addition to the franchise and can only be found on the Nintendo 3DS. Since release day, I’ve sank over 200 hours into the game and feel now is the perfect time to write a review. Continue reading

I’ve yet to actually give New Super Luigi U a proper play-through, so until I do this review will solely focus on the standalone NSMBU title.

Although technically the eleventh entry to the series, if you count the three arcade games developed by Namco, Mario Kart 8 is the latest in the hugely successful Mario Kart series and was recently released exclusively for the Nintendo Wii U system.

This latest entry brings with it all of the features of the previous games, whilst also introducing a few new things.

The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD European Boxart

Wind Waker HD: A worthy remastering of one of Nintendo’s finest games

Developer: Nintendo EAD

Platform: Wii U

I was almost a year late to the party when Nintendo first released The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker on the GameCube just over a decade ago. It wasn’t until Christmas 2003, at the age of 10, that I received Wind Waker as a gift and was able to experience what would go on to be, and still is, my favourite Legend of Zelda title.
